Brian Barwick, IMG’s former CEO, will continue to serve as executive chairman of the company. Prior to becoming president and CEO, Hancock served as the company’s executive vice president and chief operating officer. With a degree in international relations from Indiana University and more than 20 years of experience in the international insurance and global health care sectors in the U.S., Latin America, Europe, Middle East and Asia, he brings a wealth of industry knowledge to his role as president and CEO. He has spent his career managing the operational integrity and growth of cross-border insurance and health care organizations on several continents, with emphasis on designing global health benefits plans, developing multicultural employee talent, and optimizing the performance of organizations. Hancock sits on the Board of the Foundation for Complex Healthcare Solutions, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving health outcomes and reducing costs, and serves on the International Committee of the Self-Insurance Institute of America.
