GOSHEN - Indiana University Health Goshen has appointed a new chief operating officer. Robert Myers, who previously served as president of Parkview La Grange Hospital, will begin his new role immediately.

Myers will lead strategic planning efforts for IU Health Goshen Hospital and oversee the clinical and operational functions of the hospital. He says he has a strong focus on meeting the health care needs of the community.

"We want to make a difference in the health of our communities," said Myers. "I look forward to working with IU Health Goshen Colleagues and providers to strengthen and build upon our partnerships."

Myers was president of Parkview La Grange from 2007 until last month. Prior to that, he served as assistant administrator of Vernon Memorial Hospital in Wisconsin from 1997 to 2007.
