Indianapolis, Ind. -- DEFENDER, a leading provider of residential security and home automation services, announced today its continued growth and success with the promotion of Jim Boyce from president to president and CEO. As ADT Security's exclusive Authorized Premier Provider, DEFENDER is called to grow and inspire leaders who love and serve people. DEFENDER's founder and CEO, David P. Lindsey, will now serve as Chairman of the Board. The promotion is influenced by the company's success and Boyce's hand in leading that success since joining DEFENDER in 2011.
"DEFENDER continues to showcase great success through our leaders who are committed to our four passions - Self Improvement, Systems are the Solution, Developing Leaders, and Ever Expanding Influence," said Lindsey. "We have tremendous confidence in Jim to continue DEFENDER's growth trajectory and live out our purpose of growing leaders. He has been instrumental in the growth of our company, and his efforts have been a true embodiment of our cultural ideals."
Boyce, a native of Boston, Mass., joined DEFENDER's Board of Directors in 2010 and became the company's chief operating officer in October 2011. We are blessed with a talented and dedicated Board of Directors, and I serve alongside a strong, highly integrated management team."
