Governor Eric Holcomb has named Brownsburg Fire Territory Fire Marshal Stephen Jones as the Indiana state fire marshal. Jones, who began his career as a firefighter and emergency medical technician in 1984, has served as fire marshal for the Brownwsburg Fire Territory since 2013.

Hallador Energy Co. net loss grows

Terre Haute-based Hallador Energy Co. (Nasdaq: HNRG) is reporting a second quarter net loss of $3.4 million, compared to a loss of $2.9 million during the same period in 2021. Chief Executive Officer Brent Bilsland said the company lowered its cost structure, increased its sales prices and added to its liquidity to improve its financial position.

Grow Wabash County receives $50K for e-commerce program
