Purdue’s Playground with a Purpose

Purdue University has opened a playground that helps children learn lessons that will help them in all aspects of their lives. The playground made for non-verbal children, children with autism and other challenges. Anne Gritt a clinical assistant professor of speech, language and hearing sciences at Purdue University explains how it helps build both communication and social skills at this critical juncture in the child’s development.
