Noblesville Hires Department Director
The City of Noblesville has hired Alison Krupski as the new engineering department director. Krupski has served as Hamilton County’s Bridge Program Engineer for the past four years where she was responsible for budgeting, planning and overseeing the maintenance and construction of more than 325 bridges in the county. She previously worked for American Structurepoint in its bridge group where she designed bridges across the state.

EnviroForensics Promotes Hoverman
EnviroForensics has promoted Rob Hoverman to northern midwest regional director. His new role expands his regional responsibilities from Wisconsin to the Northern Midwest Region. Hoverman manages day-to-day operations, oversees technical projects ranging from dry cleaning, manufacturing, and gas station sites, to Brownfields redevelopment funding and litigation support cases. He has over 19 years of experience in the environmental industry.

RQAW Adds Environmental Specialist
Fishers-based RQAW has added Cameron Fraser as national environmental policy act specialist. He recently served as site assessment and management/NEPA specialist at the Indiana Department of Transportation. Fraser earned his bachelor of science degree in natural resources and environmental management from Ball State University.

Commonwealth Engineers Hires Manager
Commonwealth Engineers has hired Maureen Hayden as business development manager in central Indiana. She most recently served as director of intergovernmental relations for Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch. Prior to that, Hayden served as Statehouse bureau chief for 13 newspapers across Indiana, specializing in reporting on how politics and policy making at the Capitol impacted local communities.

HWC Engineering Hires Director
HWC has hired Chris Hamm as Director of Economic Development. Hamm joined HWC in 2012 as a senior planner in the Landscape Architecture and Planning department and has led several planning efforts across the state. He formerly served as principal planner at American Structurepoint. Hamm holds a degree from IUPUI.

RQAW Hires Environmental Specialist
Fishers-based RQAW Corporation has hired Julie Evans as an environmental specialist. She previously served as an ecology and waterway permitting specialist with the Indiana Department of Transportation. In that role, Evans coordinated and acquired waterway permits in multiple districts and reviewed water-determination reports and waterway permits for accuracy and completeness.

American Structurepoint Hires VP
American Structurepoint has named Matt Moore vice president. He most recently managed multiple large international airport expansion projects in the Middle East. Moore's midwest engineering and project management experience includes projects at the Indianapolis International Airport; the Sydney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital complex in Indianapolis; Nucor Steel in Crawfordsville, Indiana and Steel Dynamics, Inc. in Butler.

Clark Dietz Hires Area Manager
Clark Dietz has hired Mary Austin as Southern Indiana area manager based at their New Albany office. Austin has over 20 years consulting and engineering experience and has worked in site development, transportation and environmental. She holds degrees from the University of Louisville.

RQAW Adds Two
Fishers-based RQAW Corporation has hired Jeff Weber as a senior designer and Joe Bachman as a construction inspector. Weber has served in various roles in other firms, including with Euronique where he worked as an engineering department manager and a CAD technician. He will work out of the firm’s La Porte construction inspection department.

Patriot Hires Two
Janna Stathyelich has joined Patriot Engineering as environmental group manager and Kyle Bauer as corporate safety manager. Stathyelich most recently served at Wood in Indianapolis. Bauer recently served at Associated Builders and Contractors of Indiana/Kentucky. Stathyelich HAS over 20 years of experience providing engineering and environmental services. Bauer has over 10 years of experience providing safety services in the construction industry.

Patriot Engineering and Environmental Announces Promotion
Patriot Engineering and Environmental has promoted Douglas Zabonick to Indianapolis group manager. He joined the company five years ago as the environmental group manager. In his new role, Zabonick will oversee the managers of Patriot’s three service areas of environmental, geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing.

Commonwealth Engineers Names Managers, Promotes Partners
Indianapolis-based Commonwealth Engineers has hired Melanie Radcliff-Douglas (pictured) as business development manager. Lauren Varga has been named Northwest Indiana business development manager. The company has also promoted three staff members to partner, including Robert Bellucci (pictured), Andrew Robarge and Jeremy Hardy.

RQAW Corp. Adds Staff Engineers
RQAW Corp. has hired Madison Olsen and Jake Manzo as staff engineers in the firm’s water-resources department. She has worked on several projects as staff engineer, including the Delaware County Justice Center lift station. As an intern engineer, Manzo worked on the sewer project for the new La Porte hospital, the water main replacement project in Elkhart and the storm sewer extension project in Winamac.

Strand Associates Promotes Hawkins to VP
Columbus-based Strand Associates Inc. has promoted Bill Hawkins to vice president. He joined the firm in 1992 and has held multiple management positions including his current role as director of operations. He has experience in design, quality control, and construction of transportation projects for INDOT and local agencies. Hawkins has been serving the transportation needs of the city and surrounding communities for almost 30 years.

RQAW Corp. Adds to Team
Fishers-based RQAW Corp. has added: Gina Zaccagnini (pictured), Ben DeMaria (pictured), Drake Mulcahy, Troy Casey, Lara Dawson and Ben Nelson. Zaccagnini and DeMaria have been named environmental scientists. Mulcahy and Dawson have been appointed graduate architects. Casey has been appointed a project engineer and Nelson a staff engineer.

Patriot Appoints Tourkow Manager
Patriot Engineering and Environmental Inc. has named Aliza Tourkow branch manager of the Fort Wayne office. She has more than 12 years of experience in the public sector of community planning and more than six years of experience in grant management. Her expertise is in writing and managing EPA Brownfield Grants.

CHA Promotes George to Water Market Leader
CHA Consulting Inc. has promoted Tim George to water market leader and senior vice president. He will direct the firm’s overall water-related planning, design, and project management activities, as well as its strategic and business development initiatives. George has more than 25 years of experience in water environment and infrastructure issues.

Clark Dietz Adds to Team
Trevor Mills has joined Clark Dietz as a transportation team leader in its Indianapolis office. He has more than 18 years of experience in project management, strategic planning, asset management, and process improvement. For more than a decade he has worked for the Indiana Department of Transportation, first as a project manager, then as deputy commissioner of engineering and asset management.

Ben Sass has been named a graduate architect in the firm’s La Porte architecture department. Also, Randy Smiley (pictured) has been named a project designer for the water resources department.

Commonwealth Engineers Adds Managers
Commonwealth Engineers Inc. has named Mark Yager west central Indiana business development manager. His past experience includes working with municipalities to develop action plans for water resource infrastructure needs, including grant writing and serving as the point of contact between various government agencies. Also, Jeremy VanErman has been named northeast Indiana business development manager.

RQAW Corp. Adds Two Directors
Jeff Fisher has joined RQAW Corp. as director of human resources. He previously served as director of recruiting at Lithko, the nation’s second-largest concrete contractor. Also, Nathan Cook has been named director of information technology. He previously served eight years as an executive IT analyst advisor at Anthem Inc.

CHA Adds Two Assistant Engineers
CHA Consulting Inc., a diversified, full-service engineering and construction management firm, has added Brad Koartge and Christopher Connor to its Indianapolis area team. Koartge has been named an assistant engineer in its electrical technical group. Connor has been appointed assistant engineer providing highway design assistance.

RQAW Corp. Promotes Wathen
RQAW Corp. has promoted Eric Wathen to senior director of operations and finance. He most recently served as director of water resources. Wathen’s background includes more than 21 years of experience in civil engineering, business development, project management, construction management and transportation design.

RQAW Adds Staff Engineers
RQAW Corp. has added two engineers. Bethany Holmes has been hired for its roads division, while Josh Goodmon joins its water-resources staff. Holmes has served as a field surveyor and inspector and as a civil associate with Michael Baker International. Goodmon previously served as a civil engineer intern at Fleis & VanderBrink Engineering.

Clark Dietz Promotes Southern Indiana Area Manager
Clark Dietz has announced Area Manager Vinay Polepalli will lead its new office in Louisville. It's the firm’s tenth location. He was founder and principal of Global Solutions LLC, a civil engineering firm which he operated for 15 years in Louisville.

RQAW Hires Newest Staff Engineer
RQAW has added Davy Hemmings to its bridge department. He has worked on various highway construction projects since 2015, and is currently an engineer intern. Hemmings previously worked in a highway design center as a graduate engineer in Indianapolis and for the North Dakota Department of Transportation.

Patriot Names Servies Manager
Patriot Engineering and Environmental Inc. has named David Servies manager of environmental compliance services. He is a certified hazardous materials manager and has more than 30 years of experience providing environmental regulatory compliance for air, water and land medias.

WJE Adds to Indianapolis Office
Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates Inc. has added Chadwick Collins, Noah Fehrenbacher (pictured) and Ernest Rogalla (pictured) to the firm's expanded Indianapolis office. Collins is an Associate III and has more than 12 years of roofing experience. Fehrenbacher is a senior associate who has been with the firm since 2006. Rogalla is an associate principal and a structural engineer who has been with the firm since 1986.

Kate Weese has joined Clark Dietz’s Indianapolis office as client manager. She has more than 20 years of experience working as a city engineer and as a consultant in the engineering industry, she has been involved in all aspects of infrastructure, from major capital improvement projects to daily operations, maintenance and management of engineering departments.

Patriot Engineering and Environmental Inc. has hired Doug Rucker as senior project manager for the Environmental Group in Dayton, Ohio. The firm also named Daniel Gonzalez a project engineer in the Geotechnical Engineering Group in Indianapolis. He holds a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in geotechnical engineering from Florida Atlantic University.

Midwestern Engineers Names CEO
Midwestern Engineers Inc. has named Mark Sullivan (pictured) chief executive officer. He takes over the reins from CEO Emeritus Richard Burch. Burch will now serve as the firm's director of engineering. Senior Project Manager Clint Roos (pictured) has been elected by the board of directors as the firm's newest shareholder. Curt White was appointed senior project manager.

American Structurepoint Names Davidson Partner
Steven Davidson has been named a partner at Indianapolis-based American Structurepoint. He is a vice president in the transportation group and principal in charge of the construction solutions group. Since joining the firm in May 2015, Davidson has focused on expanding the company's regional and national reach on transportation projects.

RQAW Corp. Names Partners
RQAW Corp. has named Roger Stephens and Eric Weflen partners of its Indianapolis-based consulting firm, which specializes in engineering and architectural design and implementation. Stephens joined the firm in 2014 as director of the marketing division. Weflen is director of the architectural division.

WJE Names Associate Principal
Steven Bruns has rejoined Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates Inc. as an associate principal. He started his career with WJE as an intern at the Northbrook headquarters before working full-time in the Princeton, New Jersey and Dallas, Texas branch offices. Bruns has worked in the Indiana market the last twenty years.

Barrios Joins CE Solutions
Jessica Barrios has joined Carmel-based CE Solutions as project manager. She has a bachelor of science in applied physics with an engineering physics concentration and a mathematics minor from Appalachian State University, Boone, North Carolina and a master of science in structural engineering from the University of Southern California.

Wilcox Hires Operations Director
Paul Melillo has joined Wilcox as operations director of investigation & remediation service. He has his B.S. in Geology and Hydrogeology from the University of Vermont and his M.S. in Environmental Science from Indiana University. Melillo is a certified hazardous materials manager with more than 14 years of experience in the environmental industry.

Heartland Machine Hires 35-Year Machine Tool Veteran
Don Miller has joined Heartland Machine & Engineering to lead its Grinder Division. He will oversee all aspects of grinder sales, engineering and service for the Shigiya, Palmary and Hurise products that Heartland represents throughout North America. Miller has 20 years in grinder-specific sales management and 10 years as a manufacturing engineer, with extensive background in the automotive, diesel and bearing industries.

Christmas Elected to Board of Directors at Clark Dietz
Clark Dietz Inc. has announced Wes Christmas has been elected to the firm's 2016 Board of Directors. He is an accomplished civil/environmental engineer with over 15 years of experience serving municipal clients. Christmas is currently the manager of the firm’s Southern Indiana operations and actively supports the Indiana Water Environment Association and American Council of Engineering Companies, Indiana.
