Lake City Bank Announces Promotion
Warsaw-based Lake City Bank has promoted Melissa Blosser to vice president, retail banking regional manager. She oversees the nine bank offices in St. Joseph and Elkhart counties and provides support to their individual office managers. Blosser also serves as retail banking officer of the bank’s South Bend Downtown office. She has served the bank for 10 years. Blosser attended Cedarville University.

Merchants Hires Loan Originators
Carmel-based Merchants Mortgage has hired Jan Olmstead (pictured) and Steve Clark (pictured) as mortgage loan originators. Olmstead previously held positions with Stonegate Mortgage, GMAC Mortgage and Waterfield Mortgage. Clark, an Indianapolis native and Indiana University Bloomington graduate, returns to Central Indiana and joins the Merchants team after holding various roles in other industries.

Warsaw-based Lake City Bank has promoted Stephanie Leniski to senior vice president and retail banking manager. She joined the bank in 2002 as vice president and manager of the Elkhart Beardsley office. Leniski was promoted to north region retail manager in 2012. She has served as senior vice president since 2017.

Old National Names Director
Evansville-based Old National Bancorp has named Malinda Anthony treasury management director and senior vice president. She most recently served as north division sales manager at Wells Fargo Bank in Indianapolis. Anthony earned her bachelor’s degree from Valparaiso University.

Elevate Ventures Adds Entrepreneur-in-Residence
Fort Wayne-based Elevate Ventures has hired Dan Meek as entrepreneur-in-residence for northeast Indiana. He most recently served as president for his consulting practice, Seneca Business Ventures. Prior to that Meek was vice president of venture development and director of bioscience commercialization at Rev1 Ventures.

STAR Announces Promotion
Fort Wayne-based STAR Bank has promoted Scott Bove to regional president for commercial banking in the Indianapolis area. He has been with the bank for about a decade and has spent time in several areas of private and commercial banking. Bove holds an MBA and BS from the Purdue Krannert School of Management.

Lake City Bank Adds Assistant VP
Lake City Bank has added Chad Clinton to its mortgage team as Assistant Vice President. Clinton will work with customers on their residential mortgage loans in Indianapolis and the surrounding areas. He holds a bachelors degree in finance and entrepreneurship from the Kelley School of Business at IU.

Elevate Ventures Announces New Hire
Elevate Ventures has hired Dan Meek as entrepreneur-in-residence in northeast Indiana. He most recently served as president for his consulting practice, Seneca Business Ventures in Columbus, OH. STAR Bank's McCreary to Retire
Fort- Wayne based STAR Bank has announced John McCreary will retire at the end of the year. He joined the bank in 2001 and most recently served as regional president. McCreary has spent the past 40 years in various leadership roles for First Internet Bank, Summit Bank of Indianapolis, NBD Bank of Dayton, Ameritrust National Bank and American Fletcher National Bank.

Farmers Bank Promotes Clapp
The Farmers Bank in Frankfort has promoted Greg Clapp to assistant vice president and trust investment officer. He joined the bank in November 2015 as trust investment officer and has more than 31 years of experience in the financial services industry. Clapp received his bachelor of science degree in operations management and an MBA in business management from Bradley University.

Farmers Bank Promotes Vice President
The Farmers Bank has promoted Carroll Valentino to Vice President/Risk Management Officer. Valentino joined the bank in March 2005 and has been an active CPA since 1992. She has over 30 years experience in the banking industry specializing in external and internal auditing. Valentino holds a degree from Purdue University.

The Farmers Bank in Frankfort has promoted Alan Oyler to vice president/senior commercial banking officer. He joined the bank in 2015 as vice president/commercial lender. CNO Financial Promotes Two
Carmel-based CNO Financial Group has promoted Tricia Borcherding to vice president of human resources shared services. She has served the company for 18 years and most recently served as vice president, enterprise risk management and vice president, internal audit. Also, Carolyn O'Donnell has been promoted to vice president of organizational development. She previously served as director of human resources program management.

JCB Names Senior VP
Jackson County Bank in Seymour has named Andy Applewhite senior vice president, chief mortgage and consumer lending officer. He most recently served as as senior vice president, director of mortgage sales at First Financial Bank. Applewhite holds a B.S. in Accounting from Indiana University’s Kelly School of Business.

CNO Financial Names Chief Actuary
Carmel-based CNO Financial has named Karen DeToro chief actuary. She previously served at New York Life where she held executive leadership positions in finance operations, product development, underwriting, strategy, and governance, including serving as vice president and chief actuary of New York Life Direct.

ONB Names President
Evansville-based Old National Bank has announced it will establish a presence in the St. Louis market and named David Wilsdorf president. He most recently served as regional vice president for Wells Fargo Commercial Banking also in St. Louis. Wilsdorf earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio and his MBA from University of Texas – San Antonio.

First Farmers Promotes Holt
Converse-based First Farmers Bank & Trust has promoted Mark Holt to president. He has served as executive vice president since 2015. Holt is also a doctor of veterinary medicine, a member of Purdue President's Council and former member of the Grant County Purdue Extension Board of Directors.

First Federal Hires Vice President
First Federal Bank has hired Humair Chowdhry as vice president of commercial lending in Fort Wayne. He previously served as vice president of relationship management at PNC. Chowdhry earned his bachelor’s degree from Indiana University-Purdue University, Fort Wayne.

Carmel-based CNO Financial Group has promoted Doug Williams (pictured) to vice president of finance and administration for Bankers Life. Patti Kolodziejczyk (pictured) has also been hired as vice president of application delivery. Williams has been with the company since 2008 and most recently served as vice president of finance and administration for Washington National.

Sanctuary Wealth Names CXO
Sanctuary Wealth has named Amit Dogra chief experience officer. He previously served as CEO of Third Seven Advisors. Prior to that, Dogra was managing director for HighTower Advisors. PNC Bank Promotes Moeller
PNC Bank has promoted Martha Moeller to agricultural banking sales manager. She has 17 years of banking experienced most recently serving as PNC's business banking sales manager for central Indiana. In her new role, Moeller will manage agricultural banking teams in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

IMCU Adds Project Manager
Indiana Members Credit Union has named Craig Dauksas project manager. He brings 10 years of financial experience to his position, most recently working as a consultant for the Indiana Credit Union League. He is a graduate of Indiana University with a degree in Public Affairs.

KPMG Adds Managing Partner
KPMG LLP has named Eric Sutphin managing partner of its Indianapolis office. Sutphin has 30 years of audit and risk management experience and will be responsible for the strategic direction and quality client service. He also served as executive vice president and chief auditor at Huntington Bancshares. Sutphin holds a degree from Indiana University.

Indiana Members Credit Union Adds Officer
Indiana Members Credit Union has hired Daren Johnson as a commercial relationship officer in its Commercial Services department in Indianapolis. Johnson has been with IMCU for twelve years and began in 2007 as a business development officer. He has served the last 7 years as manager at the Government Center Branch and spent his most recent tenure managing the Castleton branch. Johnson holds a degree from the University of Indianapolis.

Indiana Members Credit Union has promoted George Bible to branch manager and named Brittany Johnson Castleton branch manager. Bible has been with the credit union since 2013. Johnson has been with IMCU for 14 years, most recently serving at the College Park branch manager.

Bank of America Merrill Lynch Adds Mar
Bank of America Merrill Lynch has named Lucia Mar as senior vice president and the newly created position of Indiana market executive for Global Commercial Banking. She most recently served as market manager for the Greater Tennessee market in business banking. Prior to becoming a market manager, Mar was a senior relationship manager with the healthcare and institutions team.

Policy Analytics Hires Reynolds
Policy Analytics has announced the addition of David Reynolds as senior vice president. He is currently serving as executive director of the Office of Senate Fiscal Policy with principal responsibility for budget and fiscal oversight and tax policy issues. Reynolds previously served as deputy state budget director and is a former Controller for the City of Indianapolis.

First Internet Bank Promotes Upton
Fishers-based First Internet Bank has promoted Mike Upton to vice president, commercial real estate relationship manager. He has been with the bank as portfolio manager since last year. Upton has 25 years of commercial lending experience and has previously worked at Grandbridge Real Estate Capital, L. J. ONI Risk Partners Promotes Hancock
ONI Risk Partners has promoted Brian Hancock to market executive of the Evansville regional office. TCU Insurance Names President
Mishawaka-based TCU Insurance Agency has appointed Rick Van Es as president. He spent 20 years as managing director of CrossRoads Business Advisors where he also served as an independent contractor for TCU. Van Es is a certified public accountant and received bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Notre Dame.

Centier Names Two Managers
Merrillville-based Centier Bank has appointed two branch managers, Linda Risch at its Fishers Crossing location and Amanda McCord at its branch in downtown South Bend. Risch has ten years of banking experience and most recently served as assistant branch manager at the Fishers location. McCord has been with Centier for four years and most recently served as customer service representative.

UBS Financial Services has promoted Steve Young to senior vice president of global wealth management. He most recently lead the business transition group, a part of the young advisory group. Fort Wayne-based STAR Financial Bank has added Matthew Lewis as vice president, senior trust officer. He has spent 20 years as a private practice attorney specializing in estate planning, probate administration, guardianships, and family law, most recently in the Carmel area.

Hendricks Co. Bank and Trust Makes Leadership Changes
Hendricks County Bank and Trust Company has named John-Paul Biehn (pictured) vice president, Jeni Limeberry (pictured) compliance analyst and Diane Oliver branch manager. The Mortgage Company of Southern Indiana Adds Loan Originator
Jasper-based The Mortgage Company of Southern Indiana has added Shanna Hallett as Mortgage Loan Originator. Hallett previously worked for Wells Fargo Financial as a branch manager, and as an investment banker for Fifth Third Bank. CNO Financial Promotes Tesnar
Carmel-based CNO Financial has promoted Ben Tesnar to vice president and chief information security officer. Tesnar has served as senior director, enterprise information security since September 2015.He will now be accountable for security strategy, security operations, and security architecture and implementation for the company. Tesnar previously held IT positions at CNA Insurance and Ernst & Young.

IMCU Makes Management Changes
Indiana Members Credit Union made management changes at five branches. Susie Box (pictured) has been promoted to branch manager of the Westfield location. She has been with IMCU since 1998. Carolyn Jones (pictured) was named Fishers branch manager. She has been the company for nine years. Summer Baker will serve as branch manager at the West Carmel location. She has more than 20 years of financial experience.

CNO Financial Names CFO and CMO
Carmel-based CNO Financial Group Inc. has named Paul McDonough chief financial officer and Rocco Tarasi chief marketing officer. Both will transition into their new roles in April. McDonough succeeds Erik Helding and Tarasi will succeed Gerardo Monroy. The company says both Helding and Monroy are leaving their positions on March 29 to pursue other opportunities.

Centier Bank Makes Two Hires
Centier Bank has added Glenn Peterson and Tony Hobbs to its staff. Peterson is branch manager and assistant vice president serving out of the bank’s Elkhart North location. He has over 25 years of retail banking experience. Hobbs is a mortgage loan originator at Centier's Zionsville branch. He also has over 25 years of mortgage and banking experience.

First Merchants Bank Promotes Valek
First Merchants Bank has promoted Carrie Valek to senior vice president and director of consumer banking. Valek will be responsible for the leadership, performance and strategic direction of the consumer bank. She most recently served as director of retail sales. She will concentrate on talent management, strategic sales management, executive leadership and financial management. Valek previously was senior vice president of retail banking for Indiana Bank and Trust Company.

MutualBank Adds to Team
MutualBank has named Patty Wheeler (pictured) vice president, commercial banker. Adam Sewell (pictured) has been appointed financial center manager of the Albany location. Also, Kelham Brown has joined SummitMortgage, a subsidiary of MutualBank, as a loan originator on the Allen County team.

IMCU Adds Business Development Officer
Indiana Members Credit Union has hired Amber Coryell as a business development officer. Coryell will oversee new and existing member relationships, along with promoting IMCU in the local community. She holds a bachelor's degree in tourism from Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis.

Financial Center First Credit Union Hires VP
Financial Center First Credit Union has hired Frances Tooley as the new vice president of human resources. Tooley's role will focus on leadership and coordination of all Human Resource functions, as well as implementing corporate Human Resource strategy. She began with the company as a teller 32 years ago in Germany before transferring to the U.S. two years later. Tooley has also served as vice president of retail operations and chief operations officer.

Sheaff Brock Investment Advisors Names VP
Sheaff Brock Investment Advisors, LLC, has hired Tiffany VanHook as vice president and wealth manager. VanHook most recently managed multiple family office relationships for a national wealth management firm. She devised investment strategies, education funding and retirement and cash flow planning. She will now provide clients with financial planning and investment advice.

JCB Makes Three Promotions
JCB has promoted Dave Ellis (pictured), Tim Risen and Michelle Schaefer (pictured) to vice presidents. Ellis joined the bank in 2007 as assistant vice president, commercial banker. Risen joined JCB in April of 2016. Schaefer returned to her commercial banker role in August 2017; however, before her return she had over nine years’ experience with JCB in treasury management and commercial lending.

STAR Bank is growing in Indianapolis and Fort Wayne. Michal Mazur (pictured) has been named vice president, senior commercial banker. Ronald Berry (pictured) joins the Indianapolis team as vice president, mortgage sales manager. The private banking team has added Jim Griest as vice president, private banking supervisor in Fort Wayne and Michael Quinn as vice president, private banker in Indianapolis.

Credit Union CEO Named to Advisory Council
Evansville Teachers Federal Credit Union President and CEO Bill Schirmer has been appointed to the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis' Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council for a three-year term. Schirmer will be one of only two credit union representatives on the committee. He previously served as executive vice president and CFO of Lake Michigan Credit Union. Schirmer holds a bachelor's degree from Western Michigan University.

Financial Center First Credit Names Branch Manager
Financial Center First Credit has named Rodney Cork as the new branch manager of the credit union’s Fox Road Branch. He joined the company in 2018 with over 20 years of banking experience, most recently as a relationship banker at the branch. Cork holds degrees in Communications and Religious Studies from Purdue and Martin Universities.

Merchants Capital Promotes Sullivan to COO
Carmel-based Merchants Capital has promoted Brian Sullivan to executive vice president and chief operating officer. He previously served as vice president of Merchants Capital and Merchants Bank of Indiana – the parent company of Merchants Capital, formerly PR Mortgage and Investments. Sullivan has been with with Merchants Bancorp since 2013 and has more than a decade of experience.

Bank CEO Elected to Federal Reserve Board
1st Source Bank Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Christopher Murphy has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. Murphy was elected as a Class A Director and will serve through 2021. Murphy previously served as Chairman of the Federal Reserve of Chicago's Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council and represented the council as a member of the Federal Reserve Board's CDIAC in Washington D.C.

First Financial Announces Leadership Changes
First Financial has announced Chief Banking Officer Tony Stollings is retiring. He has been a member of the bank’s leadership team for more than 12 years. Also, the bank has hired Andy Hauck as commercial banking executive and Cathy Myers as consumer banking executive. Stollings will work closely with Hauck, Myers and the entire leadership team until his retirement later this year.

Centier Bank Names Market President
Centier Bank has appointed Troy Kafka market president, serving the greater Indianapolis area. He has more than 25 years of banking experience. The Indiana University graduate serves his community through his board appointment with the Children’s Bureau Inc. and as a parishioner of the St. Simon the Apostle Catholic Church.

Financial Center Hires Executive Director
Financial Center First Credit Union has named Colin Murphy executive director of business sales. He has more than 14 years of experience in the financial service industry. Murphy recently served as vice president of client development for Liberty Bay Credit Union in Massachusetts.

PNC Bank Promotes Two
PNC Bank N.A. has named William "Chip" Wood vice president and client and community relations director for central and southern Indiana. He most recently served as client and community relations specialist. Wood replaced Jeffrey Kucer, who has been promoted to chief operating officer of the regional president’s organization.

SYM Financial Advisors Promotes Slocum
SYM Financial Advisors has promoted Jonathan Slocum to market leader for the northern Indiana-southern Michigan region. As a senior financial advisor, he will continue to serve his existing clients and to develop new client relationships. Slocum joined the firm in 2012.

Jones to Retire as Old National CEO
Evansville-based Old National Bancorp has announced Chief Executive Officer Bob Jones will retire in May, after 14 years with the bank. Chief Financial Officer Jim Ryan, who has been with Old National since 2000, will succeed Jones. Jones will continue to serve as Old National's chairman of the board through January 2020.

Longtime Indy Bank CEO Retiring
The National Bank of Indianapolis Chief Executive Officer Morrie Maurer has announced his retirement after 25 years. Executive Vice President and Chief Banking Officer Mark Bruin will succeed Maurer beginning January 4. Maurer helped found The National Bank of Indianapolis in 1993, serving as director, president and CEO. He previously held several financial and leadership positions at Indiana National Bank between 1975 and 1992.

Centier Bank's Jaggers Retires After Nearly 45 Years
Centier Bank has announced Darrell Jaggers is retiring. He's a 30-year veteran of the United States Army and joined the bank in 2008, after being recruited from Tower Bank in Fort Wayne. His roles in overseeing successful lending programs in northern Indiana and Indianapolis played a big role in joining Centier, helping facilitate expansion into Michiana, Fort Wayne and Indianapolis.

Financial Center Names Two Branch Managers
Financial Center First Credit Union has named Greg Hough and Joe Wallace branch managers. Hough manages the Castleton branch. He has more than 20 years of experience in the financial service industry, most recently serving as a financial relationship consultant at Regions Bank. Hough is a graduate of Ball State University. Wallace will manage its main location. He has served on the board of directors for the Horizon House of Indianapolis for more than two years.

Busey Hires Vice President
Carmel-based Busey has hired Marcus Colson as vice president and SBA lending specialist. He has nearly 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. IPL CEO to Join Old National Management
Evansville-based Old National Bancorp has added Rafael Sanchez to its management team. He most recently served as chief executive officer of Indianapolis Power and Light Co. and will take on the role of president of private banking. PNC Bank has appointed Pamela Austin senior vice president and senior banking advisor for wealth management. Allos Ventures Adds Managing Director
Indianapolis-based venture capital firm Allos Ventures has added David Kerr as its third managing director. He most recently served as chief executive officer of Allos portfolio company Octiv. Kerr previously held executive roles with Groupon, Angie’s List and GHX. He joins Allos founders Don Acquilano and John McIlwraith as managing directors at Allos.
