Hirons Hires Account Director
Indianapolis-based Hirons has hired Jackie Myers Thompson as account director at its new Chicago office. She has spent the past 20 years at Chicago-based Coppock-Meyers Public Relations, which she co-founded with the late Chet Coppock. Meyers Thompson has written two internationally distributed books and holds a Bachelor of Arts in communication from the University of Michigan.
Ferguson Adds Two
Fort Wayne-based Ferguson Advertising has added Laura Colar as director of earned media. She most recently served as associate director for PR and influencer strategy at Schaefer Condon Carter, a national marketing firm based in Chicago. The agency also hired Spencer Mize as senior web developer. He previously served as director of strategic initiatives and operations at The Summit, which is part of Fort Wayne-based Ambassador Enterprises.
Hirons Promotes Crafton
Hirons has promoted Laura Crafton to senior account manager in the communications management department. She previously served as an account manager. Prior to joining the company, Crafton served as an integrated marketing manager for Angie’s List. She is a graduate of Purdue University.
Hirons Promotes Prinsen
Hirons has promoted Kendall Prinsen to senior account manager for the communications management department. She most recently served as account manager and previously managed the agency’s internship program. Prinsen earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Indiana University, Bloomington.
Collective Alternative Adds to Growing Team
Indianapolis-based Collective Alternative has added Jessica Bullitt as an account coordinator. She is a recent Purdue University graduate. Collective Alternative, a full-service marketing, advertising and public relations firm located in Ft. Benjamin Harrison.
Hirons Promotes Durbin to SVP
Indianapolis-based Hirons has promoted Rose Durbin to senior vice president, media director. She has been with the firm for eight years. Durbin previously supervised various national accounts at a Chicago agency, including Jim Beam, Federal Crop Insurance, FMC Agricultural Solutions, Vigortone, MoorMan Products and Stauffer Seed.
Matchbook Creative Makes Hire, Three Promotions
Indianapolis-based Matchbook Creative has hired Hunter Foist (pictured) as an assistant account executive. Also, the agency has promoted Maris Schiess (pictured), Michael Stark and Maddie Derdiger to associates. Schiess most recently served as vice president, Stark was creative director and Derdiger was senior art director.
Statwax Names New President
Fishers-based Statwax has promoted Brian Walker to president. In this new role, he will lead digital strategy, development, and innovation, in helping education partners reach new digital successes. Walker has been a continuous source of innovation and motivation since Statwax’s creation in 2015. He most recently served as vice president.
Hirons Adds Two to Team
Indianapolis-based Hirons has hired Charity Stowe as senior account manager. She previously served as deputy director of legislative affairs for the Indiana House Democratic Caucus. Also, Emily Gaylord has been named account manager. She previously served as press secretary for the Indiana House Republican Caucus.
Borshoff Hires Two
Borshoff has named Jeff Gasior vice president of digital. He will lead the firm's digital media strategy and advertising. Gasior previously served as president of Statwax. Also, Whitney Ertel has been named vice president of public relations, providing senior-level public and media relations strategy, as well as crisis communications counsel. She previously worked for agencies including Ketchum and Burson-Marsteller in the United States and London.
Ferguson Advertising Expands Digital Team
Fort Wayne-based Ferguson Advertising has named Latiesha LaRue a digital media analyst. She most recently worked as a digital media buyer and planner at an agency in Fort Wayne. Also, Dan Hogan has been named a web developer. He brings six-plus years of experience in web and software development to the firm. Hogan most recently served as a software engineer for nearly three years at a Fort Wayne-based manufacturing company.
Matchbook Creative Adds to Team
Indianapolis-based Matchbook Creative has hired Kristin Hayes as traffic manager. She previously managed interactive and creative projects for a packaging supply company, where she enacted new marketing efforts and handled custom print projects. Also, Brittany Barnes has been named web developer. She previously worked in a similar role for a Lafayette-based web development company and as an iOS developer for a health solutions company.

Indianapolis-based Hirons has promoted Kelsey Brewer to account director for its communications management department. She is approaching her five year anniversary with the full-service advertising, public relations and digital agency.Brewer is a University of Kentucky graduate and an experienced advertising and marketing professional.
Hirons Hires Account Director
Indianapolis-based Hirons has hired Emily Kibling as account director in the agency's communications management department. She previously worked at Borshoff as an account director. Kibling is a graduate of the University of Iowa. She is accredited in public relations by the Public Relations Society of America and has served in numerous leadership roles for the organization’s Hoosier Chapter, including serving as 2018 president-elect.

Indianapolis-based Hirons has hired Mark LeClerc to lead its creative department as executive creative director. He was previously an owner of the Foundry creative shop, and served as executive creative director for the Indianapolis office of Publicis Worldwide.
Hirons Promotes Haworth to COO
Indianapolis-based Hirons has promoted Deana Haworth to chief operating officer. She has been at the firm for 18 years and will lead all aspects of Hirons’ operations and oversee all departments in the agency. Haworth started as a public relations specialist and has served in various account leadership roles. She most recently led the firm's Communications Management department as senior vice president, director of account services.
Hirons Names Parham CEO
Indianapolis-based Hirons has promoted Jim Parham to chief executive officer. He succeeds the firm's founder Tom Hirons, who moves to a chairmanship role. Parham specializes in crisis communications and environmental expertise for a wide array of clients. Both his undergraduate and graduate degrees are in environmental sciences, journalism and public affairs.
dgs Marketing Engineers Announces New CEO
Fishers-based dgs Marketing Engineers has promoted Leslie Galbreath to chief executive officer. She most recently served as executive vice president and chief marketing officer. Galbreath, who holds APR accreditation from the Public Relations Society of America, joined dgs in 2000. Marc Diebold, the company’s founder and long-time CEO, is now chairman and will focus on agency operations and strategic growth.
Bradley and Montgomery Names Chief Marketing and Growth Officer
Jules Boasberg has joined Indianapolis-based Bradley and Montgomery as its new chief marketing and growth officer. Boasberg previously served as senior vice president, chief marketing officer at Kansas City-based Consumer Orbit, a forensic analytics consumer science data insights and media planning consultancy.
Hirons Adds to Digital Media Team
Hirons, an Indianapolis-based advertising and public relations firm, has added Robert Hickson and Olivia Crum as digital media coordinators. Hickson graduated from Butler University with a degree in marketing and entrepreneurship. Crum, who also graduated from Butler University, majored in strategic communications with a minor in digital media production.
McCorkle Joins Tech Startup
One of the biggest names in Indiana's tech sector is joining Fishers-based marketing technology startup Fuzic Inc. Former Salesforce Marketing Cloud Chief Executive Officer Scott McCorkle will serve as executive chairman of the custom audio advertising company. He left Salesforce in August 2016 and also serves as executive in residence for Indianapolis-based High Alpha.
Element Three Hires VP
Indianapolis-based Element Three has named San Pathak the company's first vice president of technology. He most recently served as vice president of technology for Reborn Code. Pathak was also vice president of engineering at Corporate Systems Engineering, and he spent more than five years at Applied Instruments Inc. He has nearly 10 years of experience in software engineering, product development and management.
Williams Randall Advertising Hires Associate Creative Director
Indianapolis-based Williams Randall has named Brian Thibodeau associate creative director. He previously worked on a national campaign at TBWA\Chiat\Day Los Angeles for the Nissan Rogue in collaboration with the latest Star Wars movie, Rogue One. Prior to that, Thibodeau worked locally at Young & Laramore after stops around the country at Ogilvy & Mather Chicago, The Richards Group and The Martin Agency.
Taflinger Joins Borshoff
Borshoff has named Neal Taflinger digital content strategist. A natural storyteller, his professional path started in entertainment and lifestyle reporting evolved to digital publishing and marketing to brand management then circled back to journalism as an editor, data analyst and social media manager. Taflinger spent the majority of his career with the Indianapolis Star, but has also held positions at Sun King Brewing Co. and FIGHT! Media.
Borshoff Hires Account Coordinator, Designer
Borshoff has added to its integrated communications team. Ali Hernandez was named account coordinator. She is a graduate of Ball State University and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in public relations and a minor in Spanish, and studied abroad in Segovia, Spain. The firm also appointed Aaron Shyr designer. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Graphics Technology at Purdue School of Engineering and Technology at IUPUI.
Well Done Marketing Names Director
Well Done Marketing has promoted Joe Judd to director of account service. He previously served as senior account executive for the Indianapolis-based full-service advertising and public relations firm. Judd holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Butler University.
Villing & Co. Names Interactive Director
Adam Kizer has been named interactive director at Villing & Co. in South Bend. He has more than 10 years of experience in web and app development. Kizer joined the firm in 2007, but left in 2011 to start an independent web development business. In 2015, he rejoined the interactive communications team at the agency.
Borshoff Promotes Morris to Vice President
Borshoff has named Jeff Morris vice president, in addition to his role as one of the agency’s creative directors. He joined the Borshoff team five years ago after a six-year stint running his own agency. Morris provides leadership on some of the agency’s biggest accounts, including Indianapolis Indians, Kiwanis International, Indiana Commission for Higher Education and OmniSource.
Villing & Co. Hires Director
South Bend-based Villing & Co. has announced Diane Doyne has joined the agency as director of account planning. She was previously director of marketing and advertising at Saint Joseph Health System. Doyne was also associate vice president of marketing and communications for Columbia College Chicago.
