Wolf to Lead Ball State Marketing, Communications Efforts

Ball State University has named Kathy Wolf vice president for marketing and communications. She previously served in leadership roles with the University of Cincinnati and Cincinnati-based Procter & Gamble Co. (NYSE: PG).
The school says the Anderson native has more than 20 years of experience as a marketing and communications executive. Interim President Terry King says "we were fortunate to have many qualified candidates, but Kathy’s expertise and background made her a standout in a robust field. We’re eager to have Kathy join us and look forward to her leading a talented staff that will help shape the future of the university."
Wolf’s position has gone unfilled since Tom Taylor, who also had responsibilities relating to enrollment, resigned at the beginning of 2015.
In a statement, Wolf said "the Ball State that I knew growing up was always one that was well-respected and admired, but the Ball State that exists today is bigger, better and so very dynamic. There’s a greatness and graciousness that one encounters across campus – in the people and the programs. It’s time to shout from the rooftops that some of the best and brightest students, faculty and staff are right here at Ball State. I’m looking forward to partnering with all of the university’s key stakeholders, internally and externally, to continue to build on their successes, showcase what they do and tell the Ball State story."
Wolf’s first day was Monday.
