FISHERS, Ind. – Walmart Hiring for up to 95 Jobs at New Fishers Neighborhood Market.


Thursday, Nov. 21, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Walmart will hire up to 95 associates for the new Walmart Neighborhood Market opening January in Fishers at 131st St. and Highway 37. A Neighborhood Market is a smaller Walmart store which offers a convenient way to pick up fresh groceries and household items at the same every day low prices. Each Walmart Neighborhood Market is about 40,000 square feet.

Through Walmart's Veterans Welcome Home Commitment, the company will offer a job to any qualified veteran who has been honorably discharged within the past 12 months. Interested veterans may find out more at Veterans must be within 12 months of active duty and meet Walmart's standard hiring criteria.

Walmart provides benefits programs for eligible full- and part-time associates. For example, the company provides a variety of affordable health and well-being benefits including health-care coverage with no lifetime maximum. Walmart also offers eligible associates matching 401(k) contributions of up to six percent of pay, discounts on general merchandise, an Associate Stock Purchase Program and company-paid life insurance. Additionally, eligible associates receive a quarterly incentive based on store performance.

The majority of new associates will begin work in December to help prepare the store for its grand opening in January.
