The boyhood home of one of Indiana's most well-known authors is for sale. F.C. Tucker Co. is listing the property where Kurt Vonnegut grew up in Indianapolis for just under $900,000. The property is located in the historic Butler-Tarkington neighborhood and has been modernized and restored over the years.

It was built in the early 1920s and includes 4 bedrooms.

Vonnegut wrote more than a dozen novels, including “Cat's Cradle,” “Slaughterhouse-Five” and “Breakfast of Champions.”
