Vincennes Taps Provost For President

The Vincennes University Board of Trustees has named Chuck Johnson president. The former VU provost has led the institution on an interim basis since August. He succeeds Dick Helton, who took the helm in 2004 and announced his retirement earlier this year. Johnson is the 22nd president at the state’s oldest college.
