Tire Workers Approve Contract
Unionized workers at the BFGoodrich Tire Manufacturing operation in Woodburn have ratified a new contract. The company says the three-year deal covers approximately 2,450 workers at the plant near Fort Wayne and a facility in Alabama. Members of the United Steelworkers rejected a previous deal earlier this month.
Terms of the contract have not been announced.

BFGoodrich Tire Manufacturing production workers at the company’s Fort Wayne, Ind. and Tuscaloosa, Ala. facilities have ratified a renewed three-year labor agreement. The company is pleased this agreement was reached in a very cost competitive and challenging environment. The contract covers approximately 2,450 employees in Fort Wayne and Tuscaloosa who are represented by the United Steelworkers (USW).
