Thompson Thrift Announces Westward Expansion

Terre Haute-based Thompson Thrift Retail Group is launching another office outside of the state. The real estate development and construction company has locations in Vigo County, Indianapolis, Texas and the new office planned for Phoenix.
The company has had a presence in the market since 2013 and believes it is "well-equipped to cultivate new development opportunities" in the region, which also includes parts of Texas, Colorado, Utah, Nevada and New Mexico. Managing Partner Ashlee Boyd says "Thompson Thrift Retail Group is excited about strategically locating an office in this region. With our new office, we are well-positioned to compete for development opportunities; allowing continued growth in Arizona and the southwest region."
Vice President and Director of the Southwest Region Chris Hake will be in charge of the new office. He has been with Thompson Thrift since 2007.
The company developed the Paseo Lindo Retail Center in nearby Chandler, Arizona, as well as a 20-acre retail and dining center called the QC District in Queen Creek.
Thompson Thrift is involved in retail, office, mixed-use and multi-family projects. It was founded in 1986 and currently employs around 150 workers.
