Tech Companies ‘Graduate’ From Evansville Incubator

Innovation Pointe is managed by the Growth Alliance for Greater Evansville and focuses on high-tech businesses.

Two businesses have graduated from Evansville incubator Innovation Pointe. The Growth Alliance For Greater Evansville says Aerotek Inc. and TEKsystems have moved their offices to permanent space in downtown Evansville.

Aerotek and TEKsystems are operating companies of staffing company Allegis Group Inc. Aerotek provides technical, professional and industrial staffing and recruiting services. TEKsystems focuses on information technology staffing and services.

The Growth Alliance says Aerotek has had a presence in the greater Evansville area for 12 years, and is expanding operations to capitalize on opportunities in southwest Indiana. TEKsystems, which had been operating in Louisville, established its first "homebase" in Evansville when it moved into Innovation Pointe in the spring of 2015. GAGE says TEKsystems has served Evansville clients for more than 10 years. The companies plan to release more details about their moves in the coming weeks.
