Purdue University President Mitch Daniels and College of Engineering Dean Leah Jamieson will help examine the relationship among economic development, technology and manufacturing. The two will speak next week during a regional meeting of the National Academy of Engineering on the West Lafayette campus. April 18, 2014

The Purdue College of Engineering will be host on April 24 to Economic Development Through Technology: Manufacturing in the Midwest, a regional meeting of the National Academy of Engineering. A 1-6 p.m. symposium at Kurz Technology Center in Purdue Research Park is free and open to the public. The center is at 1281 Win Jentschel Blvd., West Lafayette.
