Indianapolis-based Sun King Brewing Co. will Tuesday unveil more details about its planned $5 million craft distillery and tap room in Carmel. The company says it will provide information on the distillery’s equipment, architecture and features.

The facility will be at the north end of Carmel’s Midtown Plaza. When Sun King announced the project last year, it said the distillery would feature "unique flagship spirits," along with traditional products, including whiskey, gin and rum. It is also expected to feature food from local restaurants.

Tuesday’s event is set for 10:00 a.m. at the construction site.

Sun King co-founder Dave Colt, Carmel Mayor Jim Brainard and Old Town Development Principal Justin Mofett will take part in the event to discuss the facility’s offerings, features and economic impact.?
