Ohio-based Sugar Creek Packing Co. has pushed back the opening date of its multi-million dollar project in Wayne County. The Palladium-Item in Richmond reports the company now intends to begin operations in 2015. The company was previously targeting July 2014.

The publication reports Sugar Creek has altered the location of an on-site sewage plant, electing to build it separate from the main structure.

Project officials are hoping to have all renovation and demolition to the existing facilities by late next year.

Sugar Creek acquired the former Really Cool Foods facility in Cambridge City last year during a bankruptcy court auction.
