INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The nation's premier conference on Millennial (ages 20-33) engagement, MCON13, will be hosted by Achieve, the Case Foundation, and Buckingham Foundation on July 18, 2013, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Leading Millennial experts, innovative global philanthropic leaders, and celebrities will come together with attendees to explore cutting edge methods to help nonprofits and corporations communicate, connect, and involve Millennials as donors, volunteers, and leaders within their organization. The event will also be livestreamed to an anticipated audience of 10,000 viewers worldwide.

“In its third year, MCON13 will bring together the pre-eminent thought leaders in Millennial engagement,” said Derrick Feldmann, CEO of Achieve, the creative agency organizing the conference. “The conference is an opportunity for corporations and nonprofits to unite in person and online and learn how to engage Millennials.”

The one-day conference includes a town-hall style event taking place at The Alexander, a Dolce Hotel, located at CityWay in downtown Indianapolis. Attendees also will have the exclusive opportunity to interact with national speakers, participate in networking activities, and brainstorm concepts to engage Millennials.

The evening program will feature both celebrities and philanthropists who will discuss their experiences working with the Millennial generation. Conversations will include the importance of integrating Millennial engagement strategies into their organizational structures in order to attract and leverage the generation’s talents for social good.

“We are very excited to support MCON and host the event at The Alexander. This generation is critical to our cities and communities,” said Theresa Farrington Rhodes, Executive Director of Buckingham Foundation, the philanthropic partner of Buckingham Companies. “Our company supports the efforts of this creative cohort and sees MCON as a true catalyst for change.”

At the conference, the results from the 2013 Millennial Impact Report will be released. The largest survey of Millennials, this research will include data from more than 6,000 respondents and reveal fresh insights on relationships and engagement by Millennials across sectors.

“Now in its third year, MCON has successfully amplified the voices of more than 16,000 Millennials through the program's groundbreaking research and informed more than 22,000 corporate and nonprofit leaders who have downloaded the transformative materials on Millennial engagement,” said Michael Smith, Senior Vice President of Social Innovation at the Case Foundation. “The Case Foundation is proud to continue its support and participation in the most comprehensive research initiative designed to better understand how Millennials connect, involve, and give in today’s world.”

MCON13 will also be livestreamed and viewers can watch at no charge. Participants are encouraged to create and attend viewing parties in their communities or watch via their computer or mobile device. Online attendees will interact with the speakers through chat rooms and discussion forums in addition to connecting virtually with their peers.
