State to Award Millions in Community Grants
Two dozen communities will receive more than $8 million in grants during a ceremony this afternoon at the Statehouse. The Community Focus Fund and Main Street Revitalization Program funds will go toward projects including façade improvements, infrastructure upgrades and emergency service equipment. INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Lt. Governor Sue Ellspermann will formally award Community Focus Fund (CFF) and Main Street Revitalization Program (MSRP) grants, totaling $8,181,059 to 24 Hoosier communities tomorrow.
The grants are funded by the federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program, which is administered by the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs.
