State Selects Medicaid Director
The Indiana Family and Social Services Administration has named Joseph Moser Indiana Medicaid director. He most recently served as interim executive director of a national Medicaid managed care trade association. October 10, 2013

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA) today announced that FSSA Secretary Debra Minott has appointed Joseph William Moser to serve as Indiana Medicaid Director. Moser, a native of Terre Haute, will assume his new post on Secretary Minott's executive team on November 18.
Moser has spent the last five years serving as director of government affairs and, most recently, interim executive director for Medicaid Health Plans of America, a national Medicaid managed care trade association. In his role, Moser led federal and state policy and advocacy efforts and developed an expertise on Medicaid reform and Medicaid managed care program implementation.
“I look forward to working with Joe in improving our Medicaid program.” said Secretary Minott.
“His focus on delivering Medicaid innovations will be of great benefit to taxpayers, Medicaid members and health care providers.”
Moser is a graduate of Marian University in Indianapolis and Terre Haute North Vigo High School.
