State Salutes ‘Golden’ Hoosiers

The state has announced 21 Golden Hoosier Award winners. This year’s recipients will be honored at a Statehouse ceremony June 21. The award is 10 years old and recognizes senior citizens for their service and commitment to the state.
Lieutenant Governor Suzanne Crouch says "with more than 80 submissions from individuals across the state, it certainly was difficult to narrow down to 21 exceptional senior citizens. I cannot wait to meet the award recipients and learn more about their passion for improving their communities."
The 2018 recipients are:
