The Indiana Department of Education has released school accountability grades for the 2013-2014 academic year. Superintendent of Public Instruction Glenda Ritz says the numbers reflect “significantly increased performance.” You can view a full list of grades by clicking here.

News Release

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Today, the Indiana Department of Education released 2013-2014 accountability grades for Indiana schools. The grades became public after the Indiana State Board of Education approved the placement of schools into their respective categories. The grades are attached to this email.

In response to this release, Indiana Superintendent of Public Instruction Glenda Ritz released the following statement:

“I want to thank Indiana's educators, administrators, parents, and most importantly, students for their countless hours of work over the last academic year. This data shows significantly increased performance for our schools, particularly in schools that have been lower performing in prior years. I want the thank the Indiana Department of Education's Outreach Division for their efforts in working with our Focus and Priority Schools.”
