State Gaming Revenue Slips
The monthly report from the Indiana Gaming Commission shows a decrease in statewide revenue. The agency reports adjusted gross revenue in August of nearly $195 million, compared to more than $222 million during the same period last year. Despite the overall decline, Hoosier Park Racing and Casino in Anderson and Indiana Grand Racing and Casino notched slight increases. The venues' results were boosted by a state-approved tax deduction.
