The Starke County Economic Development Foundation has named Lisa Dan executive director. She has served in the role in an interim capacity since January. Her duties include cultivating and managing business attraction, retention and expansion efforts, building relationships with local businesses, facilitating Human Resources Roundtable and Manufacturers Association meetings and involvement in quality-of-life efforts throughout Starke County.

Dan has extensive knowledge of SCEDF, having served as administrative assistant for the past 15 years. She was a finalist for the 2016 & 2017 Influential Women of the Year Award in Economic Development/Government from the Northwest Indiana Influential Women Association. Dan is a graduate of International Business College.
