Governor Mike Pence is continuing efforts to spotlight Indiana's trail system. Pence helped dedicate the Speedway Trail Corridor today before declaring Saturday Trails Day in Indiana. The Speedway Trail Corridor is a Bicentennial Nature Trust project.

After the dedication, Pence began his 2014 “Mile With Mike” effort, which involves walking along Indiana trails. Last year, he held walks in Fort Wayne, Lincoln City, Madison, Mishawaka, South Bend and Terre Haute.
