Appropriately themed “Taking Care of Business,” this event draws more than 100 exhibitors and 1,000 attendees to the unlimited opportunities to build business relationships. Admission is free to business professionals who present a business card at the registration table.
The fourth annual silent auction is a great way to buy media advertising at a reasonable cost. Participants can bid on items until 5 p.m. and winners will be announced at 5:30 p.m.
From 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., attendees can sample food from local caterers and restaurants. Attendees will also have the opportunity to network at the Happy Hour Networking which will last from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Again this year, two free workshop sessions will be held for the exhibitors and attendees to learn valuable information for their business. Held next to Kye’s in Velocity at 400 Missouri Avenue, one hour workshops will take place at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. The first workshop will feature 1si President & CEO, Wendy Dant Chesser who will discuss regionalism and the second workshop will feature Uric Dufrene, Executive Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs at Indiana University Southeast, giving his economic outlook forecast on the nation.
