Society of Innovators to Celebrate Relaunch

A long-running organization in northwest Indiana that promotes the culture of innovation will officially relaunch today during a gathering at Horseshoe Casino in Hammond. The Society of Innovators at Purdue University Northwest, detailed an affiliation with Purdue in August designed to boost its impact throughout the region and beyond.

The organization says "we are stronger, bigger, more engaged, and have new leadership with an expanded vision." The gathering will help celebrate the society’s past, present and future, as well as "reaffirm our belief that ‘anyone can be an innovator." The organization says it plans to boost opportunities and networking in order to grow the influence of innovation as a community and economic development driver.
