The Indiana Senate Tax and Fiscal Policy Committee is set to hold a hearing Tuesday morning on a mass transit bill. Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard will be among those testifying in favor of the proposal that calls for a public vote on a plan to improve mass transit in parts of Central Indiana.

Indianapolis, Ind. — Mayor Ballard will testify on behalf of Senate Bill #176, authored by Sen. Pat Miller (R-Indianapolis) before the Senate Tax and Fiscal Policy Committee on Tuesday. The Mayor will join other supporters of IndyConnect at the hearing to discuss the bill that would allow Indy-area residents to vote on a plan to improve mass transit in Central Indiana.
