Elkhart County-based Grand Design RV says increased demand is prompting the company to open a third facility in Middlebury and add more than 60 employees. MIDDLEBURY, Ind. – GRAND DESIGN RECREATIONAL VEHICLE COMPANY announced today, the opening of their third production facility.

In an interview, Don Clark, President and Co-Owner of Grand Design RV said, “The overwhelming demand by dealers and retail customers for Grand Design's Reflection mid-profile fifth wheels necessitated the opening of our third facility. We are now producing our popular Reflection Fifth Wheel brand on two production lines. Mr. Glenn Miller has been appointed plant manager for this new line. We have recently hired 70 employees for our new plant and expect to fill an additional 65 positions. Since the start of our company, we have been able to provide approximately 500 new jobs to the Middlebury and surrounding communities. We feel blessed to have been able to attract the excellent employee base we now have.”

Clark also indicated that Grand Design RV anticipates the opening of an additional product line this calendar year. “We are extremely fortunate to be among the fastest growing RV manufacturers in our industry. We attribute our accelerated growth to our customer-focused sales, service, manufacturing and support teams. Because of our people, products and our unique business model, we have been able to attract the 'who's who' of RV dealers in the industry.”

Clark, along with fellow co-owners Ron an Bill Fenech, concluded by thanking the Grand Design dealers and retail customers for supporting this incredible growth.
