More than 120 companies were represented at this year’s Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology Winter Career Fair. The annual event attracted global companies including General Electric Co. (NYSE: GE), Caterpillar Inc. (NYSE: CAT) and Eli Lilly and Co. (NYSE: LLY).
Director of Career Services and Employer Relations Kevin Hewerdine says "the job market is still very strong for the Class of 2016, with companies now having a better idea of their employment needs. They may have identified good prospects at the fall fair, and now are back for follow-up interviews and seeking other good job candidates."
Other participants at Wednesday’s fair included Texas Instruments, Toyota, Rockwell Collins, National Instruments, Honda, Archer Daniels Midland, Raytheon, Honeywell International, Anheuser-Busch and Marathon Petroleum.
The school’s Office of Career Services puts together three fairs per year and hosts more than 2,000 job interviews with prospective employers.
