Rolls-Royce in Indianapolis is considering “several hundred million dollars” in investments to modernize its facilities. An executive with the aircraft engine maker discussed the possibility during testimony Tuesday before the Indiana Senate Tax and Fiscal Policy Committee. HB 1472, which would give the Indiana Economic Development Corp. more flexibility in providing tax credits, passed unanimously out of the committee. Supporters say the measure would help the state attract major investments and strengthen its position as an advanced manufacturing leader.
