Roehm Joins American Wind Energy Board

Infrastructure and Energy Alternatives Inc. (NASDAQ: IEA) Chief Executive Officer JP Roehm has joined the American Wind Energy Association’s Board of Directors. He will serve a three-year term.
IEA, headquartered in Indianapolis, is an infrastructure construction company that specializes in building wind energy projects across the country. The company has constructed more than 7,200 wind turbines across 35 states.
“AWEA plays a vital role in positioning the wind industry for long-term success, and I welcome the opportunity to help lead the association as it carries out its important mission,” Roehm said in a news release. “Wind power is at the forefront of propelling the U.S. economy toward a cleaner, more efficient energy future. As a leader in the industry, IEA brings valuable expertise and insight to benefit AWEA’s efforts to highlight wind power as one of the most competitive sources of new electricity.”
