Aerospace and defense sector executives will take part in a jobs announcement this afternoon. Governor Mike Pence is also set to be on-hand for the event at Raytheon in Indianapolis. The event is set for 1:45 p.m. on Monday at Raytheon's Indianapolis facility.

The company has announced a couple of significant military contracts in recent months. In December, Raytheon Technical Services Co. LLC in Indianapolis was awarded a $270 million contract for software support work. In October, the company announced a $35 million U.S. Navy contract. That deal involves manufacturing, development and support of aircraft weapons technology.
