Printing Company Combining Indiana, Kentucky Operations

An Ohio-based company’s consolidation will bring nearly two dozen jobs to Wayne County. The Indiana Economic Development Corp. says Grafcor Inc. is planning to invest more than $2 million into expanding its Richmond facility. The project will accommodate additional equipment and employees from the large-format printing company’s Edgewood, Kentucky operations.
Grafcor currently has 40,000 square-feet of lithographic printing facilities in Wayne County. Consolidation is slated to begin early next year.
The new employees will more than double the company’s current Richmond work force. The company says it will start filling production and production-related openings this month.
Ohio-based Innomark Communications is the parent of Grafcor. Senior Vice President Steve Zick says "given the existing facility in Indiana and the proactive support from both the state and local economic development groups, the choice was clear. The low cost of living and the city’s efforts to grow were added incentive for us."
