Officials in Pike County Thursday will provide details on a master plan for the I-69 corridor in southwest Indiana. The Pike County Economic Development Corp. says the presentation will cover future land use, transportation and infrastructure efforts. The section of interstate running through the county opened in late-2012 and additional work that will expand the road from Bloomington to Indianapolis continues. The EDC says Thursday’s news conference will focus on "generational development" of some 4,000 acres.
A news conference and public gathering is set for 1:30 p.m. at the Pike County Courthouse Auditorium in Petersburg.
