Governor Mike Pence has approved one-time bonuses for state workers who meet or exceed performance expectations. Employee reviews will be conducted next month. He says the money for the additional pay will not impact the state's general fund. December 20, 2013

News Release

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Today, Governor Mike Pence sent a letter to State employees authorizing one-time bonuses for State employees once performance evaluations are completed in January.

Employees who meet expectations will receive a $500 bonus, those who exceed expectations will receive $750, and those rated outstanding will receive $1,000. Since the bonuses will be funded by the Personal Services Contingency Fund or absorbed by dedicated or federal funds, they will not impact the State’s general fund.
