Pacers License Plates Approved

Specialty Indiana license plates featuring the Indiana Pacers logo will be available next year. The special group recognition plates will benefit the Pacers Foundation.

The plates will be sold through Bureau of Motor Vehicle branches and myBMV.com beginning January 1. The Pacers logo will be on the left side and the words "Pacers Foundation" will run across the bottom.

Pacers President and Pacers Foundation Board Chairman Rick Fuson says "since the Foundation’s beginning in 1994, more than $7 million has been donated to organizations serving our Hoosier youth and the specialty plate will enhance that giving for years to come. We’re also delighted that Pacers fans can display Pacer Pride on their vehicles, especially as we celebrate our 50th anniversary season."

The plate will cost $40 annually, with $25 from each plate going back to the organization.
