Ossian Manufacturer Pushes Ahead With Growth Plans

An Ossian company’s plans to expand are moving forward. Rethceif Packaging has selected Briner Building Inc. of Bluffton to design and construct an addition that will nearly double its current space in Wells County.

Rethceif’s investment of $850,000 will also include the addition of a small number of jobs to its work force of nearly two dozen.

Briner Building constructed the company’s original facility 15 years ago and says the expansion could begin next month and wrap up by year’s end. Rethceif has been approved for tax abatement on the project by the town of Ossian, which Chief Executive Officer Tim Fiechter said in a statement last month helps justify the decision to stay and grow at the Ossian Industrial Park.

Rethceif has a global customer base for its packaging equipment manufacturing business.
