The University of Notre Dame is now offering its first massive open online course. The free, I “Heart” Stats course is a non-technical introduction to statistics.

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The University of Notre Dame's first MOOC (massive open online course) launched Wednesday (April 15). I “Heart” Stats is a non-technical introduction to statistics and its use in everyday life. The free, non-credit course is being taught by Dan Myers, vice president and associate provost. Offered through the University’s partnership with edX, the course is available to anyone with a free edX account. Interested individuals can take the course at their own pace, at any time of the day.
