North Webster Adds Virtual Reality Tour to Attract Visitors

North Webster will soon have a new "360-degree Virtual Reality Tour" of the city to attract more visitors. The Chamber of Commerce of North Webster will work with Warsaw-based Clear Vision Media to develop the VR tour aerial photography and community video stories.
Clear Vision has used the technology to spur tourism for other cities as well, including a similar project with Angola in 2017.
The VR tour will feature Chamber members and highlight locations in North Webster.
Tourists interested in visiting the community can virtually preview restaurants, stores and community facilities before ever visiting the business or location. The virtual tour will be embedded on the Chamber website and accessible through partner websites.
"North Webster is a smaller Chamber making a great investment in increasing value for its members," said Chris Sanchez, owner of Clear Vision Media, in a news release. "These are the projects that will increase online traffic for local businesses. We are also working with the Kosciusko County Visitors Bureau and already have a 360 VR of every town and many key community locations."
Sanchez says the project will be completed and launched by this summer. A preview of the tour can be viewed by clicking here.
