VALPARAISO, Ind. – The newly-organized Northwest Indiana World Trade Alliance will hold its first annual meeting on April 15 at the Avalon Manor Banquet Center, 3550 East US Hwy 30 in Hobart. At this time, members will elect its first president, four vice presidents, secretary, treasurer and its board of directors. The organization's steering committee has already selected W. At the same meeting, the Alliance, in a co-sponsorship with the Northwest Indiana Small Business Development Center, will host the Honorable Carlos Martin Jimenez Macias, consul general of Mexico in Chicago, who will discuss the business and economic climate in Mexico. His senior trade officer will also join him to discuss “Doing Business in and with Mexico.” The event will also feature the Gloria Dei Flamenco Dancers which will present authentic Mexican dance routines.
