The Indiana Economic Development Corp. says Danville will host a jobs announcement Thursday afternoon. Danville Town Council President Marcia Lynch and Crawfordsville Mayor Todd Barton are scheduled to take part in the economic development event.
Lieutenant Governor Eric Holcomb will also take part in the announcement, which is set for 2:45 p.m. at the Danville Town Office.
Thursday’s event will mark the latest in a string of economic development announcements this week. On Wednesday, Indianapolis-based fire protection and building services company Team 360 Services announced plans to invest $1.8 million into upgrading its headquarters and add nearly 140 jobs over the next two years.
Also this week, the company that distributes Red Bull products throughout the United States announced it will establish operations in the Indianapolis area this year. Red Bull Distribution Co. plans to lease facilities in Marion and Hamilton counties and create nearly 40 jobs.
