A delegation of Delaware County executives is set to travel to China next month for a trade mission. The 10-day trip will include a trade show and an update from cooking oil producer Godeagle, which signed a memorandum of understanding with the state last year to set up a processing facility in Muncie. That move would create more than 50 jobs.

The mission will be the first of its kind undertaken by the city and county since last year.

Muncie-Delaware County Economic Development Alliance Terry Murphy, Assistant Director of Business Development Brad Bookout and Delaware County Commissioner James King are all slated to make the trip.
