A nearly $700,000 project to restore historic Muncie apartments is complete. The Star Press reports the two-story building is located at a prominent spot near the city's downtown. The work was boosted by a $500,000 grant from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis.

The four units in the Old West End Place Apartments are income-restricted.

It is located in a historic four-block area undergoing a series of revitalization efforts along the city's Main Street.
