A Michigan-based retailer continues to expand in Indiana with a ribbon cutting this morning in West Lafayette. The new Meijer store in Tippecanoe County is expected to create more than 270 jobs. The company opened supercenters last month in Plainfield and Whitestown. June 12, 2014

Meijer is opening the Michigan-based company’s newest 190,000-square-foot supercenter in West Lafayette, Indiana. To celebrate, Meijer is hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Meijer officials and local dignitaries, as well as making donations to local organizations.

The store will create more than 270 jobs in the community and provide local residents high quality products and fresh produce delivered daily.
