News Release
FRANKFORT, Ind. – Marking the end of the administration's third 200-Day Plan that concluded May 15, Mayor Chris McBarnes and the City's leadership team already are planning initiatives for the next 200-Day Plan, revolving around the administration's four cornerstones.
“Including our initial 100-Day Plan that launched our administration back in 2012, our plans provide transparency for our initiatives and accountability for our team that we do what we say we are going to do and secondly, the plans ensure initiatives are undertaken within each of our four cornerstones of Neighborhood Revitalization, Economic Development, Communications and Citizen Voice.
“Each plan is just that – a plan. We frequently review our progress and evaluate what still needs to happen as we move through each plan's timeframe. Each time, major projects have taken place – some we anticipated and other opportunities we folded in as they became known — to what we already were doing. Where it’s needed, any initiatives that are underway but are not yet completed are transferred to the next plan to ensure everything we say we are going to do gets done.
“We hope the community sees the value in what has been accomplished to date. We have more work ahead of us and look forward to everyone working together to continue our progress forward,” McBarnes said.
