Low-Interest Loans Available In Flood-Damaged Areas

Subscribe NowGovernor Eric Holcomb says low-interest disaster loans are now available for Washington and surrounding counties after spring flooding in southern Indiana. He says businesses and nonprofit organizations can borrow up to $2 million to repair or replace disaster-damaged or destroyed property.
The loans are available to businesses and organizations in Washington, Clark, Crawford, Floyd, Harrison, Jackson, Lawrence, Orange and Scott counties. The funding is being made available through the U.S. Small Business Administration.
Homeowners are also eligible for loans of up to $200,000 to repair or replace damaged or destroyed real estate and up to $40,000 to repair or replace personal property.
