A vote is expected today on whether a plan to sell alcohol during the Indiana State Fair should go to the full House for consideration. The item is on the agenda for this morning's Public Policy Committee meeting. The bill has already made it through the Senate. Alcohol sales at the state fair have been banned since 1947.

Event officials believe selling alcohol could provide an initial revenue stream of $200,000.
