Kroger Unveils Martinsville Renovations

The Kroger Co. (NYSE: KR) has marked a major renovation at its store in Martinsville. The grocer says its investment totals $3.6 million.

The facelift includes expanded deli and dairy sections, more natural foods and the ClickList online shopping service. Friday’s store dedication included awarding a more than $200,000 check to the American Red Cross to support hurricane victims in Texas and Florida.

The Martinsville store is part of the Kroger Central Division, which includes 138 stores.
